Green Structural Karri
Hardwearing and durable, Karri is a proven performer when used in structural applications.
It is capable of spanning long distances with a minimal amount of support, and over the decades has earned a reputation as a reliable construction material exhibiting exceptional strength and engineering capabilities. Karri is also known for its availability of large section sizes and long lengths.
Green Structural Karri is ideal for use in bridges and wharf timbers, railway crossings and sleepers,
power pole cross arms and mine timbers, as well as light construction projects such as roofing timbers and pergolas.
Green Structural Karri is graded in accordance with Australian Standard 2082-1979 to stress grades F11, F14 or F17 - strength gradings which are far superior to that of softwoods.
Offering superior strength, durability and engineering qualities, Karri hardwood is not susceptible to the European House Borer.
